Changes to the national minimum wage from 1 October 2011
Every year, in October, the national minimum wage rates change. You must make sure that from 1 October 2011 you're paying your employees at least the new minimum rates. The new hourly rates are:
Workers aged 21 and over - £6.08
Workers aged 18 to 20 - £4.98
Workers aged 16 and 17 - £3.68
Apprentices - £2.60
