company ICS are willing to look at any ways to help minimise the
cleaning industry's impact on the environment. Some cleaning contractors
are arguing that daytime cleaning is better for the client and the
environment. We decided to have a look and see what are the pros and cons?
Daytime cleaning at first seems a logical step for cleaners and for clients alike, no dreadful working hours for the cleaner, the clients get to interact with the cleaners and any cleaning issues should be resolved on the day.
Another argument put forward is that it is more environmentally friendly due to the fact that the building only has to be lit during the day and not during the night time as well. Also some in the cleaning industry say the cleaners are more encouraged to use public transport if they work during daytime hours.
