Contract cleaning companies are facing huge fall in sales
Industry analyst firm Plimsoll
predict that with the UK going into recession many of the
UK's cleaning companies could
see their sales fall as much as 30%.
The report produced by Plimsoll did find that if cleaning contractors made major cost reductions they could possibly make more profit on the reduced sales. However it also found that some firms will simply be unable to cope and may have to fold.
The report advises companies to act now if they are going to try to get through this economic period, and not not to delay making the difficult decisions required.
