Cleaning companies and social media
Most
office cleaning companies
and
cleaning companies
should not find this too much of a problem for cleaners
on site but for admin personnel it could well be an
issue,
Consider the following when creating your social media
policy:
• Encourage employees to read through the
policies included in the employee handbook which
should state that policy applies to multi-media and
social networking for both professional and personal
use. • Be clear that internet postings should not
disclose any confidential company information. •
State that if an employee comments on any aspect of the
company's business, they must clearly identify
themselves as an employee and include a disclaimer such
as; "the views expressed are mine alone and do not
necessarily reflect the views of (company name)."
• Inform employees that the company reserves the right
to request that certain subjects are avoided and are
able to request that certain posts are withdrawn. •
Include information regarding possible company approval
if the post relates to the company.
